About.
MovieMatch helps you quickly decide what to watch, on your own or with the people you love. Swipe through movies, series and anime, save what you like and find matches with friends.
01. What is MovieMatch
Sound familiar? The evening is free, the subscriptions are paid, but you just can't pick a movie. MovieMatch turns choosing into a simple game: you flip through cards of movies, series and anime and mark what you want to watch.
02. Who it is for
- For one. Can't decide what to watch? Swipe the cards: everything you like goes to your wishlist, so next time the choice is already made.
- For couples and groups. Create a room and invite your friends. Everyone swipes on their own, and the movie everyone liked becomes a match, so there is nothing left to argue about.
03. How it works
- Choose a mode: picks just for you, or a room for two or a group.
- Swipe right on what you want to watch and left on what doesn't interest you.
- Open your wishlist or the room's matches and pick a movie for tonight.
04. Where the data comes from
Movie information (titles, descriptions, posters, ratings) is provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). MovieMatch uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
We do not show or distribute movies: MovieMatch helps you choose, and you watch on legal streaming services.
05. Journal
