Elvis, the Colonel and the Mob

Plot

This documentary series uncovers the untold story of Elvis Presley’s extraordinary rise, fall, and resurrection - and the shadowy forces that shaped his career from behind the curtain. At the centre is a fateful gamble: Elvis’ seven-year residency in Las Vegas, a city built on vice, showbiz glitz, and deep ties to organized crime. But the Vegas move was not Elvis’ idea. It was orchestrated by his mysterious and manipulative manager, Colonel Tom Parker, a man with a secret past and hidden connections of his own.
